So the youngest of the Kardashian sisters, Kendall and Kylie have designed their own shoe and handbag range with Steve Madden. Whilst promoting the range in America Kendall wore this out fit which I absolutely LOVE!

Katy B opted for a red maxi dress with a twist. The colour is great on Katy and matches her hair and her skin complexion, however the netting effects cheapen the look of the outfit, and make it look more like a dress you’d wear on the beach than one on the red carpet. However Katy matching her gold accessories with her bag goes great with the red.
Lily Allen’s second outfit of the night I was however not such a fan of. Firstly, she’s wearing her BRA over a ball gown… not a good look Lily! Second of all, the colours are all over the place, pink, yellow and orange are not great colours to wear together. Also, you can’t see in this photo, but Lily is wearing trainers underneath the dress! We thought you’d left that look when you finished your first album Lily? Obviously the old Lily is making a come back! But it looks oh-so dodgy.
I controversially am a bit of a fan of this outfit. I like Lily’s coliurful and fun style and I like how she’s mixed Hollywood glamour with an urban twist on this outfit. The dress is glamorous and flattering and the hair and the earrings give a bit of character to the dress. If I were Lily’s stylist however I may have advised blue hair to match the dress rather than yellow… but Lily can pull it off!
I’m normally a huge fan of Iggy Azalea and her style. I love her stand out attitude and how she adds her own style to her outfits. This dress however I think does little for her. It’s not a bad dress in terms of showing off her figure, and colour but it doesn’t have the “wow” factor. I also think the slits in the material showing bits of flesh cheapen the look of the outfit.
Another terrible outfit from Jessie J! You would have thought she’d have learnt from the ELLE style awards, but apparently not. The nude, jewelled jumpsuit gives her little shape and doesn’t make her stand out on the red carpet. If that wasn’t bad enough the light pink lipstick makes her outfit look even more dated and her whole complexion look drained. Is she trying to be a British Nicki Minaj???
Surprisingly Rita Ora was one of the best dressed celebrities of the night at this year’s Brit Awards. She goes for a Hollywood glamour look in a canary yellow dress. The fitting and the shape of the dress is perfect for the occasion and the yellow makes her stand out against the other dresses worn on the night. However, the green jewels up the seams make it look a bit on the tacky side, as well as the dress seeming a bit too big for her shape on the top half. The material also looks on the tacky side, but she generally looked better than most of the celebrities on the night. 6/10
So this year saw some very questionable outfits at the Brit Awards in my opinion… where did some of the outfits go so wrong?!
This dress by Vivienne Westwood, worn by Ellie Goulding just doesn’t do it for me. Somehow the dress looks frumpy on Ellie, giving her no shape and no elegance. The fitting doesn’t work, and the pocket details also add to the frumpiness. Pockets on a ballgown?! Not the best idea… Also the shoe’s add to the clumpiness of the outfit, they should be dainty if Ellie is going for the princess look.
2/10 I’m afraid Ellie!
